Support for Those Navigating Life
After Injury
As northern Nevada’s oldest personal injury law firm, we know how a devastating injury can change the trajectory of a person’s life. We’ve seen this many times with our own clients, but we all know of someone whose life has been altered forever by an injury that was no fault of their own. For many who are injured, the legal compensation they receive won’t make many of the challenges on that road ahead any easier. And more than that, a life-changing injury can happen to anyone when we least expect it, even to us.
Who We Support
With The Road Ahead Initiative, we support local organizations working with those learning to live with life after an injury. These organizations provide much needed assistance and programs for the injured and their families as they navigate a whole new world, including physical rehabilitation, mental and psychological counseling, in-home care, group care, financial counseling, adaptive athletic programs, job training and return-to-work programs, and much more.

The Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living (NNCIL) was founded more than 30 years ago as a 501C-3 by a small group of people with disabilities to help others with disabilities hone the skills they needed to achieve independent living.
Over the years, we’ve brought in experts, gained and shared knowledge, developed programs, embraced technology and expanded our resources exponentially, all in an effort to help Nevadans with disabilities live healthier, more active and more fulfilling lives.
We are committed to growing, adapting and continually responding to the needs of our community in order to serve the needs of our friends and neighbors with disabilities. So, if your needs are not currently being met and you don’t see what you need on this website, please reach out to us. Together we’ll find a solution. Our services and resources are provided at little to no cost through grants and donations.
